Rachel is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Enrolled Agent with over 25 years’ experience working in UK and US taxation, focusing on cross-border private clients and expatriates. As well as complex UK and US tax returns, Rachel’s specialisms include the taxation of pensions and share schemes and application of double taxation agreements, as well as residence and domicile planning and offshore structuring. Rachel is often described as having a talent for “making the complex simple” and even from time to time, “making tax fun”.
Having previously worked at PwC and in the International tax team at Coutts & Co, Rachel started her own tax and accountancy practice in 2013 which became part of the Shaw Gibbs group in August 2024.
Outside of the office, Rachel has a private pilot’s license and enjoys taking day trips to airfields in the UK and further afield.
