Having joined Edmund Gibbs as an accounts trainee in 1998, Leigh worked his way up to his current role as Accounts Director. He is an expert at providing tax advice for owner-managed businesses, new business start-ups and overseeing company secretarial matters. He specialises in several sectors and works with clients who range in size from entrepreneurial start-ups to more established companies with multi-million pound turnovers and multiple operations.
In particular, Leigh has in-depth experience of providing corporate tax and income extraction advice to owner-managed businesses. He also assists with the incorporation of new companies and advises on many of the issues that come with running your own company, such as taxation, bookkeeping and company law requirements.
Leigh also assists clients from across the firm with the drafting and preparation of computations for R & D Tax Relief claims.
Leigh works closely with clients and he says he really enjoys working with clients to help their business grow.
At home, Leigh has a young family and in his spare time enjoys running and swimming to keep fit, and travelling – when time allows.
