Darshil is an FCCA-qualified accountant who joined Shaw Gibbs in August 2017 and has over 13 years of experience in practice.

Specialising in owner-managed businesses and inbound clients with overseas owners, Darshil helps his clients refine all aspects of their financial recording and reporting, including the use of cloud platforms and apps.

Darshil’s approach is to invest time in building close relationships with his clients to understand their objectives. He then uses his expertise and experience to help the client achieve these objectives.

Outside work, Darshil enjoys spending time with his family, travelling the world and playing football.

Preparing for your year-end audit

A statutory audit is carried out once a year and can mean a lot of work for a client, especially if there are complexities such as share-based payments, revenue recognition on stage of completion basis etc. For some companies, there is no justification to hire additional staff in just to facilitate the audit.
