Entrepreneurial businesses can access up to £5k in Government funding to help to fund the adoption of accounting software through the Help to Grow: Digital scheme.
The scheme, which is part of the Government’s levelling up agenda, provides retail discounts for digital accounting and CRM software.
Businesses with up to 249 employees can access the support in order to help them on their digital transformation journey which, according to the CBI is “..fundamental to unlocking economic growth, boosting productivity and creating a more resilient future for firms” (Lord Karan Bilimoria, CBI president).
Studies have shown that adopting accounting software results in a productivity gain of between 7.5 – 18% and we see significantly improved time efficiencies when our clients do so. Simplifying processes, providing insight into the current and future performance and providing flexibility in relation to accessing and sharing data across multiple sites are just some of the benefits which are realised.
Currently three accounting software providers have signed up to the scheme – Sage, Intuit and E-crunch and the next stage will include access to e-commerce software.
